Our Story
Helms Heating & Air Conditioning was founded by Morrison Helms in 1979 as a small metal fabrication shop. Morrison established the company's mission to provide the highest quality workmanship at competitive prices. In 1986, his son Steve joined the company and successfully built the Residential New Construction department. In a short period, Helms became one of the largest heating and air conditioning companies in the Charlotte area, never sacrificing quality. In 1997, Steve's son Chris Helms joined the company, filling the void left by his grandfather's retirement. Today, Chris and Julie continue to instill the emphasis on quality craftsmanship to their team, striving to maintain a reputation built on trust, integrity, and a sense of family.
